Structuring Your Project for Effective Management
CSV Import is one of the methods available for structuring projects, alongside using templates. This guide focuses on using CSV Import to add multiple divisions and phases to a project efficiently.
In order to import your divisions and phases at once:
Please note that this process is only available during the initial setup of a project, prior to any budgets or costs being added.
Click on the ‘Division & phase Upload’ button on the when viewing the project.

Populate the CSV as per below table
Heading | Information required | Tip |
Division Number | Each division requires a number, must be between 0-99. | This is a required field for upload. |
Division Name | The division name | This is a required field for upload. |
Phase Number | Each phase requires a number, must be between 0-99. | This is a required field for upload. |
Phase Name | The phase's name | This is a required field for upload. |
Phase Budget | The phase's budget | This is a required field for upload. |
Available on Mobile | Whether you want the phase available top mobile app users. | This is required. If missing ‘on' will be used. |
Phase Notifications | Whether you want to receive notifications regarding the phase. | This is required. If missing ‘on' will be used. |
Choose your prepared CSV file for upload
The software will check for errors and if any are found will describe the errors. If there are any errors amend the CSV accordingly and resave it, then start the upload again.
Remember, CSV bulk upload functionality becomes unavailable once costs or budgets are assigned to a project, so ensure all data is complete and accurate before proceeding to the next project phase.
Click on 'Upload'
